RIPPLE EFFECT 2018
Creative Workshops

Murmuration is working in collaboration with The Arts Centre Cootamundra to facilitate a series of inclusive creative workshops throughout 2017 + 2018.

We currently have a remaining ten places available for the upcoming Series 2 + Series 3 Workshops in May and September 2018.

Across three artforms participants will take part in a creative development process, culminating in a presentation and showcase. Participants will be taught by and exchange with professional artists with and without disability.

The workshops are designed to inspire and engage a diverse range of people’s interests, needs and abilities.

Artforms

Theatre: storytelling, movement, improvisation and drama

Visual Arts: fibre art, photography and set design

Music: sound, voice, choral and recording

What?
Take part in taster workshops of each artform
Follow an artform of your choice
Learn from professional artists
Build skills in the creative arts
Be part of an end of year presentation

Who?
Open to primary and high school students
Ages ranging from 10 – 18 years
We encourage any student with an interest in the creative arts to attend
No experience required
Open to teachers and arts workers to participate
Support workers and peer assistants welcome

Presentation and Showcase
Saturday 22 September | 2:00 – 4:30 pm

It is ideal for participants to take part in both remaining series which lead to the public presentation and showcase.
