Jianna Georgiou has had the privilege to work with some amazing dancers, teachers,directors and choreographers including: Lisa Heaven & Peter Sheedy (Adelaide College of the Arts); Philip Channells, Lee-Anne Litton, Elizabeth Ryan and Gavin Webber (Dance Integrated Australia); Dan Daw & Sarah-Vyne Vassallo (Murmuration Dance Theatre); Alison Currie, Daniel Koerner, Katrina Lazaroff, Steve Mayhew, Michelle Ryan, Kate Sulan, Rob Tannion, Ingrid Voorendt, Kat Worth & Dean Walsh (Restless Dance Theatre) and Paige Gordon (Tracksuit).
For Dance Integrated Australia Jianna has worked on projects at the Sydney Opera House, Museum of Contemporary Arts, Bundanon Trust (NSW) Judith Wright Centre for Contemporary Arts (QLD), King St. Arts Centre (WA).
Jianna is a recipient of the Creative Young Stars Program (Creative Australia), JUMP National Mentoring Program and the Creative Pathways Development Grant (Australia Council for the Arts).
Through Restless Dance Theatre Jianna has performed in many works with the Youth Ensemble, directed her own choreography for the debut program, performed in several professional works including Beauty and Salt and was part of the Second Nature creative development for the Touring Company. Her recent choreography, Spirited Gardens was presented at the 2014 Australian Youth Dance Festival in Renmark, SA.
Jianna is a 2015/2016 company member with Murmuration, fulfilling the role of Artist/Collaborator.
